Every write that changes a worker’s number, original start date, entity or workspace attributes, or a record’s attributes, records one revision. Its entries hold each changed field’s old and new value. A write that changes nothing records no revision. The changed resource’s revision names its latest. A revision is visible to you when you can read at least one of its entries.
